Roses for Debra, who scratched out of Monday’s Presque Isle Masters S. (G2), will instead make her next start in the $250,000 Turf Monster S. (G3) at Parx on Sept. 23.
Owned by John O’Meara and Cheyenne Stable LLC, Roses for Debra brings a four-race winning streak and an undefeated 2023 campaign into Saturday’s five-furlong grass sprint. The gray/roan 4-year-old has won seven of nine lifetime, with three stakes wins, and earned $406,430.
The Christophe Clement trainee drew post four in the field of 12 and was installed as the 9-5 morning line favorite. As she has been in her last two starts, both stakes wins at Saratoga, she’ll be ridden by Irad Ortiz, Jr.
The Turf Monster is race eight on Saturday’s card, with a post time of 3:01 pm ET.
