Time for Truth, a sharp Dec. 31 maiden special weight winner for Harry Rosenblum and Cheyenne Stable LLC, will make his second lifetime start on Feb. 10 in the $150,000 Ozark S. at Oaklawn Park.
The six-furlong race for 3-year-olds drew a field of seven, with Time for Truth in post five.
Though Time for Truth lacks the stakes experience of most of his foes, his Beyer Speed Figure of 89 for his maiden win is the highest number of any horse in the field. A son of leading young sire Omaha Beach, Time for Truth survived an early speed duel in his victory, drawing away late to win by nearly two lengths.
Trained by Ron Moquett, Time for Truth is the second foal out of Shape Shifter, a four-time winner and half-sister to stakes winner Strongconstitution.
The Ozark is race 10 on Saturday’s card, with a scheduled post time of 6:05 ET.
