Cheyenne Stable LLC’s stakes-winning colt Apollo Ten will make his 2025 debut on May 3rd at Aqueduct in the $150,000 Elusive Quality S. at six furlongs on the turf.
The 4-year-old homebred accounted for the My Frenchman S. last July on the grass at Monmouth Park and has a solid overall record of 3-2-1 in nine lifetime starts, six of those on the turf.
Apollo Ten was last seen racing in October when a close second to stakes winner Joe Shiesty in an open allowance race at Keeneland. The dark bay son of Violence has been working regularly in Florida over the past several weeks, where he has posted three straight bullet workouts under the tutelage of Christophe Clement.
The Elusive Quality drew a field of 10, with two additional main track only entrants. Apollo Ten drew post 4 and will be ridden by Dylan Davis.
The Elusive Quality is carded as race 7, with a post time of 3:08 pm ET.
