Cheyenne Stable LLC’s Eakly, already a two-time stake winner at Remington Park, will try for his third win at the Oklahoma oval on Sept. 12 in the Cliff Berry Turf Sprint H.

The 5-year-old comes into the five-furlong sprint off a winning performance on Aug. 1 in a 5 ½-furlong turf allowance race at Ellis Park. The bay homebred has been very consistent throughout his career, hitting the board in 15 of 20 lifetime starts.

Eakly is 2-2-1 in five starts at Remington, with his wins coming in back to back runnings of the Oklahoma Turf Classic.

In Friday’s race, Eakly drew post 6 in the field of eight and was installed the 2-1 favorite. The Berry will be race 4 on the card, with a post time of 7:24 CT.
