Bandonarun makes New York debut in Floral Park S.

After spending most of her career in Florida and Maryland, Cheyenne Stable LLC’s Bandonarun will make her first appearance in New York on Saturday in the $150,000 Floral Park S. at the Belmont at Big A fall meet.

The six-furlong turf sprint for fillies and mares is the feature race on the Saturday card.

Bandonarun had taken nearly four months off before resurfacing in the Aug. 9 Andy Guest S., where she finished a solid fifth in a race that has produced several next-out winners.

The 5-year-old has made just eight lifetime starts and compiled a solid record of 3-0-2, including placing in the Captiva Island S. at Gulfstream Park in March.

The Floral Park drew a field of 10, with Bandonarun drawing post 7 for trainer Miguel Clement and jockey Rajiv Maragh, who will be aboard for the first time.

Post time for the Floral Park, race 10, is 5:49 pm ET.
