Clothes Fall Off will make her first appearance at the races in some nine months when the 5-year-old goes postward in Sunday’s $100,000 Interborough S. (G3) at Aqueduct.
Owned by Cheyenne Stables in partnership with Southern Equine Stable and Gatewood Bell, Clothes Fall Off was last seen in the Grade 1 Madison S. in the Spring at Keeneland. A rough trip resulted in her finishing worse than second for only the second time in her 12-race career.
Winner of the $125,000 Correction S. prior to the Madison, Clothes Fall Off has been working well for her return, culminating with a bullet four-furlong move in :47.80 at Belmont Park on Jan. 14.
The six-furlong Interborough drew a field of eight distaffers, with Clothes Fall Off drawing post seven and getting the services of Manny Franco, who was aboard in the Correction.
Run on Aqueduct’s inner dirt track, the Interborough is race 8 at 3:50 p.m. ET.
