Cheyenne Stables’ homebred Clear Vision will make his first stakes start in over a year in Saturday’s $100,000 Artie Schiller S. at Belmont Park.
Clear Vision, fittingly a 4-year-old son of Artie Schiller out of Refreshing (GB), is trained by Jeremiah O’Dwyer. After getting several months off in the spring and summer, Clear Vision has returned to win two of his three starts this autumn, most recently a 1 1/16-mile turf allowance Oct. 11 at Laurel Park.
The Artie Schiller, at a mile on the turf, drew a field of 13, with four designated as main track only entrants should the race come off the turf.
Clear Vision is in post seven, with Joel Rosario in the irons for the first time. The Artie Schiller is race 9 on the card, with a post time of 3:47 p.m. ET.
