Clothes Fall Off finishes with big rally in $100K Fort Springs S.

Cheyenne Stables’ 3-year-old filly Clothes Fall Off got her first black type in the $100,000 Fort Springs S. in the finale Saturday at Keeneland.

Clothes Fall Off, who had finished first or second in all but one of her starts prior to the Fort Springs, proved up to the task once again on Saturday. Between horses off the pace most of the way, Clothes Fall Off unleashed a big rally in the stretch to come up just a neck short of the winner Meshell.

The final time for the six furlongs of the Fort Springs, which was run the race right after American Pharoah’s win in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1), was 1:10.30 (VIDEO).

Clothes Fall Off, trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, is now 2-4-0 in seven starts and has earned $174,960.
