Clothes Fall Off makes her first start in stakes company on Sunday when the filly co-owned by Cheyenne Stables, Hat Creek Racing, and Southern Equine goes postward in a field of 11 3-year-old fillies in the $300,000 Prioress S. (G2) at Saratoga Race Course.
Clothes Fall Off drew post four and will be ridden by J. L. Ortiz, who has been aboard for all four of the filly’s starts to date. Never worse than second in her career, Clothes Fall Off was beaten just a nose by Paid Up Subscriber, who is also in the Prioress, in her last out July 25.
Trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, Clothes Fall Off won her Saratoga maiden special weight debut last summer against another Prioress foe in Fusaichi Red; she has earned $107,560 to date.
Cheyenne bought Clothes Fall Off, who is out of the stakes-winning Dayjur mare Tequila’s Dayjur, out of the 2014 OBS Select 2-year-old sale.
Post time for the six-furlong Prioress, which is race 10, is 5:47 p.m. ET.
