Cheyenne Stables and Gaillardia Racing’s 2-year-old colt Opry will make his next start in the $150,000 With Anticipation S. (G3) on Aug. 29 at Saratoga. The race is the premier event for 2-year-old on the turf during the meet.

Opry, trained by Todd Pletcher, was a fast-closing third, beaten just half-length, in his Aug. 11 debut at seven furlongs. He stretches out to 1 1/16-miles for the With Anticipation, which drew a full field of 12 juveniles.

Opry is a son of Declaration of War, the 2013 Champion Older Male in both England and Ireland, the same year he finished third in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1). Opry’s dam, That Voodoo Youdo, was stakes-placed and is a sister to White Cat, winner of the Transylvania S. (G3T) at Keeneland.

Opry drew post 8 and will be ridden by Javier Castellano in Wednesday’s 9th race, which is scheduled to run at 5:40 p.m. ET.
