Ozara’s first graded stakes win came in the 2025 Ballston Spa S. (G2), and on Saturday the Cheyenne Stables LLC’s colorbearer will look to score back-to-back victories in the 1 1/16-mile turf contest for fillies and mares.
Five-year-old Ozara got the first half of 2026 off before returning to the races on May 30th, when she won the Miss Liberty S. at Monmouth Park. Most recently in Saratoga’s 1 1/8-mile Diana S. (G1), she contested the pace but seemingly did not enjoy the yielding turf course. A cutback in distance on Saturday should also be to her liking.
Ozara drew post 1 for trainer Miguel Clement and jockey Dylan Davis, who was aboard for last year’s victory. A total of eight distaffers were entered, with one additional main track only runner.
Also in Ozara’s favor is that she is 3-for-4 lifetime at Saratoga and 4-for-6 lifetime at the distance.
The Ballston Spa is race 10 with a scheduled post time of 6:07 pm ET.
