Fresh off a win in the Presque Isle Downs Masters S. (G2), John O’Meara and Cheyenne Stable LLC’s Roses for Debra will look to make it two straight stakes wins on Oct. 13 in Keeneland’s $350,000 Franklin S. (G2).

The 5-year-old mare is familiar with the Keeneland turf course from her win in the Giant’s Causeway S. (G3) over the same 5 ½-furlong distance in April.

Sunday’s race drew a full field of 12, with four also-eligibles. Roses for Debra, in post 3, will have Irad Ortiz, Jr. aboard, his ninth straight race on the Christophe Clement trainee.

Roses for Debra has been off the board just once in 10 starts for Clement, with four stakes victories among her six wins for her trainer.

Sunday’s Franklin is race 8 on the card, with a scheduled post time of 4:44 pm ET.
