Uphill Dance, owned by Gary Barber, Cheyenne Stable LLC and Wachtel Stable, will make her final appearance of 2025 on Dec. 13 at Turfway Park in the $250,000 Holiday Inaugural S.

The dark bay 4-year-old filly has spent most of this year at Woodbine in Canada under the care of trainer Rachel Halden. In her most recent start, Uphill Dance was beaten less than two lengths in the Bessarabian S. (G3).

Saturday’s six-furlong sprint drew an overflow field of 13, with Uphill Dance in post 6.

Alternating between turf and synthetic tracks for most of her career, Uphill Dance was stakes-placed twice as a 3-year-old, including in the Ontario Cotillion (G3). Her lifetime career earnings stand at $158,561.

The Holiday Inaugural is race 7 on Saturday night, with a post time of 8:55 pm ET.
